8+ hours!

Okay, sorry if you’re tired of getting updates on the Boy’s sleeping, but this was very exciting for us. Wednesday night the girls were up more frequently than Elisha was. I finally woke him (he’d been squeaking and sucking toward his hand for some time) and tried to get him to eat, but since there was nothing “ready” for him, he didn’t act all that interested.

I’m not a worrier. At least, compared to the other moms at MOPS, my worry-quotient is low enough to be ignored. Even so, I got uncomfortable (no, not physically) when the girls got down to nap after 1p.m. and E still hadn’t had good meal.

I am a firm believer in the “never-wake-a-sleeping-baby” school, but after that long sleep, and less-than 1/2-hour of nursing all day, I was as concerned about having something to feed him as I was about how much he wasn’t eating.

So I woke him. And he ate good. So we all relaxed a bit. I’ll be happer though when he quits being so iffy in his approach.
