I got a nap this morning, and as I did my children were bathed and dressed and fed.
God’s design (that whole two-parent thing) *so* makes the most sense.

I went and auditioned last night for a play I know next to nothing about.
It felt a bit like an ethical quandary, truly:
Is showing up like an eBay bid, where if you “win” (are selected) you are bound to follow through and roll with whatever’s given you?

I am working on a short fairy tale to submit for publication (sort of a breather from the novel, you might say).
Naturally the language is how I would tell it.

In October I attended a writer’s workshop where I recieved back my novel’s first-chapter that had be reviewed and commented on by one of the editors present.  For almost three months now I’ve thought my folder from there– holding both the marked-up manuscript and my skip-the-slush-pile [...]

I signed up for the intermediate guitar class, and got the run-down tonight.
It looks to be just what I need (Highly structured and purposeful) goes where I want to go, and (God. help. me.) at breakneck speed.

Well, this illness has just been holding-on, finger- and toenail.
Thankfully no one else seems to have gotten sick, and I only cough when I’m tired, but that seems to be pretty consistently every evening now.

Jay is so kind to me.
I’m noticeably improved today (less tired, less coughing) and he is still staying home to manage things and let me rest.
It really is the sensible thing to do– not to quit too soon– and I’m thankful Jay has the flexibility at work to be able to choose that for us.
